As a result, she is not at home as much. She has made the difficult decision to rehome her two dogs. Dax's canine buddy has already found a new home. All of these changes have caused Dax to develop separation anxiety and he cries when left alone. He has also developed an aversion to being crated and might become destructive when left alone. Since his energy level is high, he requires at least an hour of daily exercise. Children overstimulate him, so he would do best in an adult-only home. These issues will most likely resolve if Dax can find a new home where someone is home most of the time (or he can accompany them on outings) and he receives appropriate training. It would also benefit Dax if there was an active, playful buddy (canine and/or human) in the home and a yard so Dax can work off his excess energy. Despite these issues, Dax is the sweetest boy and is soooo beautiful! Dax looks like a mini-Lab. He loves attention and wants to be your constant companion! He loves other dogs, but hasn't had any contact with cats. Dax likes to ride in the car. But his favorite activity is playing fetch. He has had some basic obedience training and knows the commands: Look at me, Sit, Lay Down, and Roll Over. Since he is very social, an adopter with a flexible schedule would be the best fit for him. He might need someone to come home at lunch or have a daily dog walker. He would love to find a patient person or family to love him as much as he will love them.
