My name is Tiko. While I like people, I?m really an adult-only type of dog. I really do not enjoy the company of children. My mom thinks I might have had a bad experience with them. But I really love adults. My foster mom says I am busy little guy. I run around the house to make sure everything is where it supposed to be. Managing my toys and working on my chew toys keeps me busy. I take my toys out of the toy box and put in them in various places. Then, they must be moved all around the room to keep them safe from toy poachers. I will make brief stops to visit with people (to ensure they are all right) before going back to managing my toys. My mom has told me that I am quite an entertaining guy. I?ve been learning new things like sit and stay. Most of the time, I follow directions. But sometimes I do get a little distracted. While I like treats, I?m more motivated when I get positive attention from people. Some of my favorite things are going for walks, car rides (a road trip with my new family would be fun), and hanging out on my bed (I?m a good sleeper). I?m not much of a barker at home. Well, except when there is someone at the door - I have to alert my toys about a stranger, don?t I? For some reason, I like to bark a lot at adoption events. Guess that?s why a cute guy like me hasn?t been adopted yet. Since I?ve got a lot of energy to expend, I like to meet and play with other dogs. I live with a bunch of other dogs of all sizes and get along with everyone. Sometimes, I like to share a crate instead of staying in one by myself. It would be great if I found a new home where I would have a four-legged brother or sister that I could play and snuggle with every day. Do you need a buddy?
