Breed Estimate: Lab/JRT mix Gender: Female Approximate weight: 35 lbs Approximate age: 1-1/2 years old Location: Temporary housing - FOSTER NEEDED Cratetrained: Yes Coat: Medium - some brushing needed Sasha was adopted about a year ago. Unfortunately, her family has undergone some changes and they no longer have time to care for Sasha. So they have asked HT to find a new person or family for Sasha to love. She is so sweet and gentle. Sasha loves to be loved and really likes to play. She has some squeaky toys that she loves. This cutie plays "soccer" with her tennis balls by batting them around with her front paws. Sasha gets along great with other dogs and with cats. She would like to have a doggie companion in her new home. Sasha is mostly good on the leash, but squirrels can tempt her to pull a bit. She is completely housebroken. While she barks when people come to the door, she doesn't bark for no reason. She is very tolerant of baths and grooming, but they're not her favorite things to do. She does not like the car and can be nervous in unfamiliar settings. This can make it difficult to travel with her. Sasha is afraid of loud noises and bright lights (like flashlights or camera flashes). If she is anxious or lonely, she might chew on something. Mostly she will chew on her toys, but she might chew shoes if she can find them. She needs to find a person or family who will be patient and understanding with her while she is learning to overcome her insecurities. Sasha will be a wonderful companion for someone special.
