I came from the Goochland hoarding case where I lived in an outdoor pen with no socialization since I was a young puppy. I am good with other dogs and not sure about cats. I need a quiet home with a confident dog to help me learn the ropes. I am shy with people and need someone patient to teach me to trust people. If you are looking for a companion, come and see me! If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. ***Note that puppy adoption fees generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. They include surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized.
