All of the dogs lived outside in pens in the heat, rain, and cold. There was no one to give them any affection or companionship. As a result, Marigold is super shy and submissive. She will need a home with another confident dog (to show her the ropes) and a patient owner who has experience in working with extremely shy dogs. Marigold lost one of her rear legs somehow and might have some difficulty with stairs, but otherwise gets around just fine. She gets along well with other dogs. Since she has lived outdoors in a rural area, Marigold will need to learn basic house manners. While she's getting used to urban life, she will need a patient person or family to help her with the transition. She would like to find someone special with a gentle touch to give her an indoor home with a soft bed and good food, and most of all to show her that human companionship brings rewards such as petting, hugs, and cuddles!
